Western Delta University 2012/2013 Post UTME Admission Screening

The Western Delta University, Oghara, Delta State, Nigeria, a private University approved by the Federal Government in 2007 invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Foundation Programme of the University for the 2012/2013 Academic Session.

This programme is open to candidates who did not write 2012/2013 UTME examination or those who wrote the examination and scored below cut-off mark.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
The minimum entry requirements for admission into Western Delta University Foundation Degree Programme are: GCE O/Level, SSCE, NECO or NABTEB credit level passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant science or social science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings. 

Candidates are also to note that there are other requirements that may be specific to a College and/or a Department.

CRITERIA FOR TRANSITION INTO 200 LEVEL:
The Foundation Degree Programme will run for two (2) semesters that is one academic session.
(a)At the end of the Foundation Programme, in order to qualify for Direct Entry admission into 200 level in the University, a student must have scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00.
(b)Successful candidates who qualify to enroll into the Degree Programme at the 200 level must purchase, complete and submit the Direct Entry JAMB Form.
(c)Those that are unsuccessful may be allowed to repeat the Foundation Programme.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Application Forms are obtainable at the Admissions Office of the University upon payment of non-refundable fee of Six Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N6,500.00) in any branch of the following Banks Nationwide:

Candidates should complete the Application Form and send scanned copies, including the copies of credentials and Payslip to admissions@wduniversity.net. All received Application Forms would be acknowledged. 
Candidates should use valid e-mail address on submission of duly completed Application Forms.

Forms can also be obtained at the following Sales Centres. Candidates are required to pay the cost of the Form into any of the designated Banks and obtain the Form from any of the Sales Centres.
